Office Assistant
Job Type: Full Time, Monday-Thursday
FLSA: Non-Exempt, Hourly
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Office Assistant to support of the company’s operations and employees. Daily responsibilities:
- Act as liaison for communications between the Director and other department leaders.
- Create correspondence and presentations when needed.
- Answer and screen phone calls, take messages, answer questions and direct calls to the
appropriate staff. - Coordinate and prepare meetings plus events.
- Coordinate multiple calendars.
- Maintain personnel records and reports, vacations, and timesheets.
- Interact with internal and external clients along with vendors.
- Prepares purchase orders, packing slips, customer invoices, schedule plant shipping, as well as incoming and outgoing UPS & LTL freight.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2-4 years of office administrative experience.
- Proficient in accounting knowledge and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to handle confidential information with trust and professionalism.
- Ability to handle changes in priorities and interruptions during work hours.
