An Unloader, under the direction of the Lead or Supervisor, unloads customer parts after coating as scheduled, un-masks parts if needed, helps to remove tooling or racks, assembles tooling and hooks and assists in other duties, as determined by the Lead or Supervisor. This position will also have secondary duties related to being a backup painter/coater.

Essential Duties:
- Off-load customer parts from the line as required by the Lead or Supervisor.
- Disassemble racks and hooks from tooling of jobs.
- Perform visual and mechanical checks to ensure all customer parts are properly coated and maintain documents as instructed.
- Helps to disassembles tooling after each production run.
- Unmask parts as needed.
- Runs the sand blast as required.
- Keeps the work area organized and clean for each job and production run.
- Complies with safety rules and regulations to insure a safe work environment.
- Sets up and coats production parts when needed.
- Helps keep the coating area neat, clean and organized when needed.
- Follows all prescribed work instructions to ensure the highest quality work.
- Under the direction of the Lead Coater or Supervisor, prepares Booth and Guns for color changes.
- Monitors paint consumed and inventoried and reports this to the Lead Coater.
- Maintains and makes minor repairs to powder coating equipment as needed.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications and abilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication and teamwork sills.
- Stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Reaches overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Lift parts up to 50 pounds.
- Repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
